Fusion 360 How to show a list of dimension

Jun 19, 2020

Hey, this is Tyler Beck with tech and espresso today talking about parameters.

So one little shortcut before we get there is when you want to edit something quickly, you can go and edit the sketch and then start double-clicking. And that works great. One little shortcut is you can right click on a sketch over in the design tree and do show dimension. And now that shows all of them and you can double click on them, edit them. Now, the question comes up. How do I see a list of all of my dimensions in this design? So if you do S for search change, parameter, or just type in parameters will bring it up and here it is. So it breaks it down. When you look at the model, each sketch each feature, and then you can see my last sketch has a lot of dimensions. Another reason that it can be helpful if you name your sketch dimensions, when it makes sense to you, you can then see them all on a list, and we can also do formulas and expressions here. I hope that helps see in the next video.
